What it is

Finely graded basaltic mineral grit from volcanic rock.

Why it's in the formula

It exfoliates by mechanics rather than acid, and because the grains are graded it abrades evenly instead of leaving micro-tears the way sharp nut shell can.

Where it comes from

Washed and sieved volcanic mineral, no microplastics anywhere in the process.
