What it is

A water-soluble form of vitamin B3, one of the most studied ingredients in skin care and stable enough to survive a real formula.

Why it's in the formula

It supports the skin barrier, helps regulate oil, and evens tone and post-shave redness over time. Where charcoal and grit work on the surface, niacinamide works on what the surface does next.

Where it comes from

Cosmetic-grade vitamin B3, used at levels that are effective without the flushing high doses can cause.

What to know

Well tolerated by most skin, including sensitive. Very high concentrations can cause temporary flushing; ours do not go there.
